Hi We are Scavenger Hunt L.L.C. We're legal and have innovative ideas for the public and for businesses to come together. As a Scavenger Hunt Player, you are not obligated to purchase anything to participate. You are obligated or required to go to all stores OR restaurants OR online businesses listed in the particular Scavenger Hunt you pursue. Once at the location you'll be directed to "Scavenger Hunt" for a particular 'CLUE', and once you are directed to where to find this 'CLUE', to write it down. You must keep what it is and it's details in a notebook under the heading of the store OR the restaurant OR the online business and save your notes for inspection (send us a photo copy) after you Declare Completed to us. We may have several Scavenger Hunts in your area going on at the same time. You as a Player may participate in just one, several, or all of them. Each is FREE for you to participate in. Businesses also are not required to participate in all Scavenger Hunts; your business can participate in only one, or in several, or in all of them if you wish, although please be conscious of how far Players need to travel (no more than five or ten miles). When a business participates in more than one Scavenger Hunt, we'll post close to its first entry the other Scavenger Hunts it's participating in so that Players who wish to participate in its other Scav Hunts can do so while they're already in your store or restaurant. Also note, that not all entries, not all businesses, are required to join before a Scavenger Hunt can begin. Most entries, businesses, will join one at a time, one here, one there: but as soon as one business starts a new Scavenger Hunt - that particular Scavenger Hunt is Active. If the Scavenger Hunt requires 100 stores, for example, OR 50 restaurants, OR 200 online businesses, to be a part of it, regardless, as soon as one store joins - THAT SHOPPING SPREE is Active, or as soon as one restaurant joins - THAT SCAVENGER HUNT FOR RESTAURANT DINNERS is Active. As a Player whose goal is to WIN whatever the prize is, this means that you'll have to check "The List" daily, or as often as you wish, to see if any additional stores, restaurants, or online businesses have also joined. Since the 'race' is to the swiftest, manner of speaking, you might consider hiring us for $3.00 to notify you by email as soon as we post a new restaurant or business; or even quicker notification by phone for $5.00. As a Player or Participant your GOAL is to hurry-on-down to the store OR the restaurant location, OR click into the website when it's an Online Scavenger Hunt ... because the 1st person who proves they have visited and compiled all of the Scavenger Hunt items or CLUES', wins the Shopping Spree OR the Restaurant Dinner OR the Movie Tickets OR Whatever The Scavenger Hunt Is For. Also, to keep expenses down for businesses who enter, no two winners (some contests will have only 1 Winner while other contests may have 2 Winners, 3 Winners, 5 Winners, 10, etc.) may claim their winnings exactly at the same Store or Restaurant. The 1st Winner always has first choice as to which store on The List he or she wishes to do their Shopping Spree at; or which restaurant on The List they wish to eat at; etc. Additional Winners choose other stores to Shopping Spree at, or other restaurants to eat at. The 2nd Winner has 2nd choice; the 3rd Winner has 3rd Choice, etc.

The Below Is Meant Mostly For Restaurants That Want To Enter Their Restaurant Into The Competition ---

For Your Restaurant:

Cost is $100.00 - Your AD lasts till the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth Winners are announced, whether it takes a month or a year to announce all Five Winners. Scavenger Hunt Players must visit all 50 restaurants, and write down the Scavenger Hunt clues for each. It's up to each restaurant to design what your Scavenger Hunt "ITEM" or "CLUE" is. A manager, or an assistant manager, or other employee should be designated to assist Scavenger Hunt Players who come into your establishment. Scavenger Hunt Players are NOT required to purchase and you must NOT pressure them into doing so. Nonetheless, you are allowed to give them a brief "tour" of your restaurant or your menu items, or samples, or even coupons to eat at your restaurant. If you choose to give them coupons, such coupons shall not have an 'Urgency Date' on them, such as "Must be used within 30 days." Scavenger Hunt L.L.C. is a unique form of advertising never been done before. As such, we hope you, as the restaurant manager, etc., hold true to our vision for unique advertising and unique incentives and if you distribute coupons, please do so with no expiration date (because that's probably never been done before ...) Or if you feel like you must expiration-date it, please at least make it good for a year. Thank you. Also bear in mind here that this current Contest is for a $100.00 Restaurant Win. Now there are restaurants that can easily serve one or two people at that price. And even restaurants where a hundred dollars wouldn't even get you in the door. Nonetheless, there are many fastfood restaurants, such as Del Taco, where a person might have to buy bags and bags of take-home food to satisfy a hundred dollar order. Please, if they choose your cheaper restaurant for their 'Win', don't make them order $100.00 worth of food on the spot. Please be civil and thoughtful: allow them to come back several times to claim all of their $100.00 Win without taking "doggy" bags home.

Now there are many ways you can give the 'CLUE' to people. Also you can make it easy or complicated. We suggest making it easy. The goal is not trying to stump them. The goal, for you as a restaurant, is them showing up, IN YOUR RESTAURANT. With whoever shows up, you've already won! When someone stands before you, asking for the Scavenger Hunt 'CLUE' - your $100.00 Scavenger Hunt L.L.C. Fee is working! To exemplify them being there, to make your Fee work just a little better, at this point you just need to show them a little of what you got! You don't need to overdo it but show them a bit of your menu or your prices, or describe why your mashed potatoes are maybe the best mashed potatoes they will ever eat! You may choose your own 'CLUES', but here are several examples of what you could do:

EXAMPLE A ---

Let's say you run an all-you-can-eat buffet. Your designated person could say, "Follow me." And then she walks around the buffet area, describing items. "Let me show you our Sushi Bar." Then she continues to walk as she says, "And over here we have over a dozen types of chicken entrees. And on the next row are six types of fish as well as hot dogs and hamburgers." If you choose to do a tour, we suggest you keep the tour brief. Only a couple of minutes of walking and talking and showing, and then tell the person the approximate location where to find the Scavenger Hunt Clue and any hints that you may suggest." "Ok. Here's the Scavenger Hunt Clue we want you to find. Go back to the Sushi Bar and count how many types of Sushi begin with the letter "R". Write those down in your Notebook under our Restaurant Name and Address. Thank you for visiting us and if you win the $100.00 FREE Meal, you're welcome to use it here." Please refrain from saying anything that hints at immediate eating or future paid eating, but it's okay to suggest their winning, if they should win, can be eaten at your restaurant. Also, it is not required but if you choose you can give them a free handout, such as, "If you'd like a free sushi, tell me, and I'll prepare one for you?" Many grocery stores give out free food, why not you? You don't have to do this of course, but if you give them something free to eat, they may want more and decide to purchase something to eat then and there ...

EXAMPLE B ---

Scavenger Hunt Restaurant Clues should generally be about food items on your menu. However, if your local restaurant is part of a CHAIN Restaurant, meaning you have more than one location, you could say something like: "What city do you live in?" The Player responds with, let's say, "West Valley City." "Good! Your Scavenger Hunt Clue," as your designated person hands her a pre-written flyer with all your local restaurant locations on it, "is to write down our addresses in West Valley City. Be sure to write the name of our restaurant twice --- above each address. Note: writing our name twice above each address is part of the answer that the Scavenger Hunt Judge will look for."

EXAMPLE C ---

Your designated person hands The Scavenger Hunt Player a restaurant menu (or if you don't have a printed menu, perhaps he directs the player to read the menu above their heads). "Ok. we have a simple Clue for you: Find the item that costs $2.95 and write the name of it and its price. Be sure to also include our business name and address above it."

EXAMPLE D ---

In all four of these examples, note that although the people (or Players) that we send your way are not obligated to buy, and you shouldn't pressure them to buy; nonetheless, they are walking down your aisles seeing some of the things your restaurant offers, or examining your menu items and their costs. Very few forms of advertising do this for you! If you take out a TV or radio ad, most likely the people are NOT required to come to your actual location (unless they want to be a customer). If you take out a billboard sign along the freeway, as with the first two, TV and radio, it's very expensive, whereas our Scavenger Hunt For Restaurants, only costs $100.00 to join for most restaurants, 45 of you, but for 5 of you, whom Winning Customers choose to partake of their $100.00 Restaurant Dinner at, it will cost you an additional $100.00 for a total of $200.00 Note that although people are not obligated to purchase, if a person is in your restaurant going through your menu (if you choose to use this methodology) and he or she or they are hungry, they probably will purchase something on the spot. Our Scavenger Hunt For Restaurant Dinners is a type of advertising with much greater promise of bringing in hundreds or even thousands of people INTO YOUR RESTAURANT than just about any other type of advertising out there. Other forms of advertising are mostly about informing people about sales items, such as, 'Come in to save $3.00 on a steak dinner,' or, '2 for the price of 1 burritos this weekend." But those kinds of ads do not motivate the majority of people (unless they're either looking to eat a burrito or a steak, or perhaps they're already customers of your's and you're giving them an incentive to revisit). For most people there isn't going to be enough motivation to actually hop into their car, drive down to your restaurant, and actually park their car and walk into your restaurant, look around, check out your menu and prices. But with Scavenger Hunt L.L.C., for as little as $100.00, we motivate Players TO COME INTO YOUR RESTAURANT, (we're not talking about phoning you or checking you out online, BUT ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY VISITING YOUR LOCATION; and many of these people might be prospective new customers for you! There's more to "selling" people than just coupons and discount prices. When they come into your restaurant IN PERSON, perhaps they'll fall in love with the view, or the water fountain, or the singer you have singing. Probably hundreds of people, hundreds of Scavenger Hunt Players, with the motivation to come right into your physical location is the type of advertising we at Scavenger Hunt L.L.C. offer to your business --- that you won't find by any type of non-video advertising. It's true that TV can provide this for you; but compare our cost with the hundreds or thousands of dollars to create and take out TV Ads. Furthermore, a real-life experience is probably better than an A.I. experience, etc. Our Scavenger Hunt Players cannot do it over the phone, nor online. Will they buy on the spot? Some will. Most probably won't. Will some of them return to buy at a later date? Because they have taken a tour, designed by you, even if it's just a tour of your menu, there's a good possibility that some of them might. But hey! You're not paying several hundred or even several thousand dollars for this advertising "risk". 45 of you, 45 restaurants of you, will only pay $100.00 initially up front; and the other 5 of you, restaurants, whom the Winners of The FREE $100.00 Restaurant Giveaway select because your restaurant appeals to them the most, or perhaps it's because they've never eaten with you before, pay that $100.00 Initial Fee plus an additional $100.00 for your Free Restaurant Giveaway to them.

Now, all advertising involves risk. You don't know whether it's going to produce customers and sales. But we hope we've shown you that this is a better risk than just advertising discounts of this product on sale and that product on sale. And at the very least, Scavenger Hunt L.L.C. is less expensive; so much so that even if you currently have some other form of advertising that you're doing - you can still try Scavenger Hunt For Restaurant Dinners for as little as $100.00, perhaps, to see if it works.

45 Restaurants Cost = $100.00

5 Restaurants Cost = $100.00 + $100.00 = $200.00
